Front Avenue Promenade

Back to McEuen Park

(Kathy Plonka)

Even before you step into the park, this inviting, landscaped walkway along the south edge of Front Avenue offers great views of the park and Lake Coeur d’Alene. The promenade has ample pedestrian space up to 40 feet wide in spots. It’s a prime location for art fairs, a farmers market and other public gatherings, as well as public art installations. “I think it’s actually one of the more exciting elements of the park,” landscape architect Dell Hatch says.
