Lakeside outlasted Riverside 25-17, 23-25, 25-17,25-11 to move on and face Freeman at Newport on Saturday for the District 7 1A championship.

Lexi Watkins and Lexi Clark both had 14 kills for the Eagles, while Sydney Johnson set a match-high 40 assists and Taylor Jacobson blocked six shots in the win.

Sydney Spray finished with 19 kills, three aces and 17 digs to lead the Rams losing effort.
