Summary

Lake City defeated Coeur d'Alene 3-0 on Thursday night in front of 500 people at the Lake City football field in which Timberwolves coach Matt Ruchti described as, "No better environment around to play high school soccer."

LC first-half goals from Caitlin Barber and Cameron Wendlandt gave the T-Wolves the early lead, with Maddi Ward's un-assisted score in the 72nd completing the trifecta.

Tiegan Horton earned the clean sheet in goal for LC.

"Defensively it's always great to get a shut out. We gave up four goals in our last game and zero in this one, it's a great improvement," said Ruchti.
