Summary

Nicole Sheer had 16 points and four steals to lead Colfax to a 42-25 win Monday night over Springdale in the opening round of the 2B District 7 tournament at Mt. Spokane High School.

Amara Huber grabbed 12 rebounds, Bailey Mackleit 10 and Sidney Sheer seven as Colfax outrebounded Springdale 47-28.

Eilish Smith and Brittney Beckman each scored seven points to lead Springdale.

Colfax will play Lind-Ritzville/Sprague at Mt. Spokane in the winner's bracket game, while Springdale travels to Mead High School to face Liberty. Both second round games are Wednesday night.
