Summary

Hailey Jackson drove in Vanessa Shippy in the seventh inning with the game tied and the Timberwolves earned a trip to state with a 7-6 win over the Bengals. Jackson went 4 for 5 with two RBIs for the Timberwolves. Paige Wells went 3 for 4 and hit a grand slam in a six-run second inning for the Bengals, but they would not score again.
