Summary

JJ Hancock hit an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning and Colton Plew got the win in one inning of relief to lead host Kennewick past Rogers in 3A subregional loser-out game.

The Pirates (5-16) fell behind 1-0 early but tied it in the second inning on a James Welty solo home run. Rogers took the lead in the fourth and held it until the final frame, when two bunt singles and a sacrifice fly helped contribute to a two-run inning and a walk-off win for the Bombers (19-1).

Evan Norden pitched a complete-game with five strikeouts for the Pirates.
