M. Mongeon struck out nine in a complete-game effort to help Cashmere hold off Medical Lake in a 1A Regional matchup at Central Valley Saturday morning. Hailey Cheevers collected three hits and Jordyn Soliday threw a complete-game three-hitter with nine strikeouts for the Cardinals who will play Riverside later in the day. Cashmere will play Lakeside.
