At Colville, Katelynn Irish hit a go-ahead, solo home run to lift Deer Park past East Valley 4-3 in the 2A GNL District tournament and into the 2A State tournament for the first time since 2002. Kelli Hughes helped preserved the lead with a throw-out at home plate in the bottom of the eighth from right field. With the los, East Valley was eliminated from the playoffs.
