Summary

Cort Ruzicka scored two touchdowns and the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague defense again came up big in a 23-6 win over Wilbur-Creston Friday in a 2B play-in game.

After a scoreless first period, Ruzicka hauled in a 30 yard pass from Jacob Saetre to give the Broncos a lead. The Wildcats answered when Trystan Rosman hooked up with Colton Magers from six yards out, but that would be Wilbur's only score of the game. LRS pulled away after the break, as Dallas Killian returned an interception for a score and Ruzicka dashed 76 yards to seal the win.

The Bronco defense intercepted three passes on the night as LRS (10-0) seeks a third straight state title.
