Liberty Christian dominated in their 1B state semifinal matchup against Republic, defeating the Tigers 46-20. John Lesser ran for 294 yards and two touchdowns on 18 rushes and threw for 108 yards and three touchdowns on four of seven passing. For Republic, Angelo Rivera had a great kick return for 92 yards and a touchdown, and Alex Rivera ran for 89 yards on 19 carries.
