Summary

Hugh Hennings rushed for two scores and Lind-Ritzville/Sprague used a balanced attack to pummel Springdale 51-6 Friday at Ritzville. The Broncos raced to a 33-0 halftime advantage as five different players found the end zone. Hennings opened the scoring from two yards out, Andrew Witt rushed in from 32 yards, and Dane Wahl powered in from four yards away in the first quarter. Cort Ruzicka hauled in a seventy yard pass from Jacob Saetre, and Saetre scored himself on an interception return. Hennings, Damien Rouleau and Kyle Gimmaka added second-half scores for the hosts. In a testament to their offensive balance, no Bronco topped 100 yards in rushing, passing or receiving. But the two-time defending state champs had no trouble putting away the Chargers.
