Summary

With a State tournament berth in the balance, Lakeside came up with a fourth-quarter rally to top visiting Kootenai 55-46 on Thursday in the 1A District II championship game.

The Knights face a 42-39 deficit entering the fourth, but used a 16-4 closing spurt to seal a trip to Caldwell next week.

Dakota Abrahamson led Lakeside with 16 points. Jordan Nilson tallied 11 points, seven rebounds, six steals and five assists. Hunter Kolar also scored 11 and Mike Huber put in 10.

Morgan Willms led the Warriors with 15 points, while Hunter Whipple added 11 and Colson Shultz notched 10. Kootenai's season is over.
