Summary

Sam Druffel opened the scoring in the third minute as Pullman scored early and often in a 7-0 boys soccer victory over visiting Clarkston to wrap up the Great Northern League title for the Greyhounds.

The league championship is the first for Pullman since 2006.

Druffel, a junior forward, added goals in the 22nd minute and 50th minute to complete his hat trick.

Matt Winchell, also a junior forward, bagged a brace to add to Pullman's haul. He scored on an assist from Druffel about 30 seconds after the opener and tacked on his second to start the scoring in the second half.

Zane Bickham and Will Pitzer split time in goal for Pullman, with Pitzer making the only save in keeping a clean sheet for the Greyhounds.

With the GNL title, Pullman earns a bye into the district championship game, which they will host.
