Summary

Priest River staged a second-half rally to beat host Valley Christian 2-1 Saturday in a nonleague match.

Michael Campbell put the Panthers on top in the 14th minute, and the lead held up for most of the game until Corbin Maltba drew the Spartans level shortly before the hour mark. The visitors then snatched a winner when Joe Irvine fired in from Clay Pelton's feed.

Priest River's Adam Irvine (eight saves) and VC's Austin Giles (seven) both distinguished themselves with strong play in net.
