Summary

Selkirk edged Curlew 24-23 in an offensive slugfest in the second game of a Northeast 1B doubleheader on Saturday.

Curlew pulled ahead in the sixth inning with 11 runs, but Selkirk answered with 11 of its own in the bottom of the sixth. The Cougars' comeback attempt was stymied in the seventh.

Jacob Couch was 4-for-4 with three doubles and a triple for the Rangers. Daniel Tresham was 3-for-6, including a grand slam for the Cougars.
