Summary

Colton’s three freshman starters combined to hit for the cycle and the Wildcats remained unbeaten, improving to 13-0. Five of their wins this year have come by mercy-rule, including the hosts’ latest, which lasted just five innings. On Tuesday, ninth-graders Luke Vining (who doubled), Reece Chadwick (who tripled) and Parker Druffel (who homered) combined to notch every possible hit for the Wildcats. Chadwick led Colton’s offense with five RBI, all knocked with two outs.
