Eli Holecek scored a game-high 19 points to lead East Valley to a 69-55 victory over Lakeside in a nonleague boys basketball game at Nine Mile Falls.

The Knights broke open a tight game with a strong close to the first quarter and carried that momentum into the second period for a 34-22 halftime lead. The second half was played evenly with the Knights adding only two points to their lead.

DeVonte Gorman added 13 points, Ale'Dre Bracey 13 and Jeremiah Hillard 10 for East Valley.
