Summary

Jessie and Emily Holder scored 18 points each, and Evergreen Lutheran surged in the second half to defeat Tahola 62-48 Thursday at Spokane Arena in a 1B quarterfinal.

The Eagles (21-2) trailed 29-21 in the second quarter but went on an extended 34-13 run into the fourth quarter to seize the initiative. EL didn't make a 3-pointer, but outrebounded the Chitwhins (17-8) 31-22. Emily Holder gathered 14 misses and Jessie Holder had seven.

Katelyn Schwartz added nine points and five assists for the Eagles.

Karleena Walther paced Taholah with 13 points. Patricia Charley added 11 points and Marquel Waugh notched six points and nine rebounds.
