Summary

Colin Spendlove's one-out, two-run triple in the bottom of the sixth snapped a 5-all tie and gave host East Valley a 7-5 victory to open a Great Northern League doubleheader. Alex Witt's two-run single in the bottom of the second helped the Knights cut into Pullman's 4-0 lead. EV's Jacob Townley (1-1), after a shaky first inning, allowed five hits and one run over the final six innings.
