Summary

Chase Kuhnert notched three hits, including an RBI single to win the game in the seventh, and Lakeside defeated visiting Riverside 5-4 on Tuesday.

The Eagles trailed 4-3 entering the bottom of the seventh, but tied the game when Drew Shuler laid down a sacrifice bunt that was thrown away, allowing a run to score. After another sacrifice, Kuhnert pounded out an infield hit to bring in Shuler and end the game.

Kuhnert finished with a pair of RBIs. Shuler tallied a pair of hits.

John Bogetti pitched 6 1/3 strong innings for the Rams, allowing one earned run and striking out nine.
