Coeur d' Alene heads to state after defeating Meridian 5-3. Bre Burke was on the mound for Cd'A and went all 7 with 9 strikeouts while going 3-4 with an RBI with the bat. Ashley Ferniman had a 2 RBI triple in the second inning to give break a 1-1 score and put them up for good. Cd'A will play Highland at Bonneville High School in the 5A state tournament.
