Summary

Eilish Smith smacked two home runs and the Springdale Chargers rallied in the sixth and beat the Davenport Gorillas 20-5 in a loser-out matchup at the District 7 2B tournament on Tuesday. Springdale earned a No. 5 seed at the regional tournament.

Smith's solo homer put the Chargers down by one going into the sixth inning. Smith and Shallon Crosley each had a home run in the sixth inning for the Chargers, who piled on 13 runs off of 11 hits.

Springdale plays the Northeast top-seeded team on Saturday a the District 7/9 2B regional tournament.
