Summary

Elie Frey smacked two home runs, including a grand slam in the fifth, and had seven RBIs as the Northwest Christian Crusaders blanked the Lind-Ritzville/Sprague Broncos 21-0 in the District 7 2B semifinals.

Alexis Tibbetts was 4 for 4 at the plate, including a double, for the Crusaders. Nattea Nelson held the Broncos to only one hit, striking out 12.

Northwest Christian turned around to play Kettle Falls in the district championship.

LRS played Colfax for third place and beat the Bulldogs 15-3 to give the Broncos a No. 3 northeast seed in the regional tournament. They will play the southeast No. 2-seeded DeSales.
