St. Maries was eliminated in the 2A state softball tournament as New Plymouth outlasted the Lumberjacks 16-10 in a loser-out game at Blackhoot High School on Friday.

Kenzie White dealed 10 strikeouts on the mound and was 3 for 5 at the plate with four RBIs. Aubrey Wilson tacked on five RBIs and a 3 for 5 performance.
