Summary

Jack Skinner had three hits, including two doubles, in the Hoquiam Grizzlies' 10-4 rout of the Lakeside Eagles to advance to the State 1A semifinal game. Jared Steen stole four bases on the Eagles. Hoquiam's top three batters - Skinner, Steen and Zach Spradlin - scored a combined seven runs.

Nason Dvorak led Lakeside at the plate, hitting 2-for-4 and driving in a run.

The defending State champions will move on to play Freeman on Friday in Yakima at 4 p.m. Lakeside's season ends.
