Summary

Deer Park moves on by defeating Zillah 24-6 in the 1A state quarterfinals. Deer Park will matchup against last years state champions the Royal Knights next week in the final four. Deer Parks defense held the SCAC's league MVP Ryan Slack to only 51 yards on 19 carries. Safety Trayton Bird for the Stags had his 4th interception in 2 games and returned one for 57 yards against Zillah. Conner O'Dea also hit Bird for a 49 yard touchdown pass for the first score of the game.
