Summary

What happened: Colton got up early but faced a struggle in game three. Kacey Halbert was a force in game three as she put up all seven of her aces in the game in make it 2-1. But Colton didn't lose their focus as they got back together and being down 24-21 in game four, they fought back to win the game 28-26 and win the match 3-1, being the first time in two years that the Wildcats have beaten the Pirates thanks to a big night from Maggie Pluied who had 10 blocks. Kendyl Druffel had 13 kills and Jordyn Moehrle lead with 16 digs on the night. Other stats to note were Abby Kelly with 17 assists and Georgia Meyer with 5 aces.

For Pomeroy, their attack was lead by Kacey Halbert who had 16 kills, seven aces, and 13 digs and Sydney Smith who lead with 31 assists and 13 digs

Stat of the game: Even though she didn't show up in the scoring box, Emily Schulpheis played a very key role in the game blocking five balls and having 14 digs, playing well all the way around.
