Macky Morris scored 19 points with 12 rebounds and five steals and No. 1 seed Post Falls (18-2) advanced in Idaho 5A Region I with a 49-30 win over fourth-seeded Coeur d’Alene (7-10) on Friday.

Melody Kempton added 10 points for Post Falls, ranked third in last week’s Idaho 5A media poll. The Trojans limited the Vikings to single digits in each of the four quarters.

Kayla Fagan paced CdA with 11 points.

Post Falls will play Lewiston for a trip to state on Tuesday, while Coeur d’Alene faces Lake City in a loser-out game on Tuesday.
