Summary

What happened:

Senior Tim Pendry teamed up with Isaiah Strong as they both scored 12 points apiece to lead Pullman (18-5) over Clarkston (19-2) 63-53, defeating the #1 ranked team in the state at the 2A level. Both teams will advance to CWAC glue crossover games on Feb. 18.

Jett Sobotta gave Clarkston momentum early on helping the Bantams take a 13-6 lead after the first quarter. But a stingy Pullman defense flipped the switch in the second quarter as Clarkston didn't score a single point in the quarter. Coming out of halftime, the Bantams got their offense back, but it wasn't enough as the Greyhounds pulled away for the win.

Pullman got some addition help from Jared Anderson and Jacob Wells, with Anderson scoring 11 points with 17 rebounds, and Wells scoring 11 points with 10 rebounds.

Clarkston was led by Jett Sobotta as he finished with 24 points on 11 baskets. Jake Albright added 14 points with 10 rebounds and five assists.
