Summary

Korin Baker scored 14 points and the fourth-seeded Cougars (11-9) came back to eliminate the No. 2-seed Panthers (13-10) 36-31 on Wednesday in District 7 1B play at Deer Park HS.

Curlew was down 19-13 in the first half and used a 23-12 second half to win by five points.

MeganJoe Beedle added 11 points for Curlew, which faces Selkirk on Saturday for third place in the district and a trip to regionals next week.

Phoebe Trigsted led the Panthers with 11 points.
