Summary

Danny Bradbury scored 17 points, Koa Pancho added 15 and the Grizzlies (15-8) defeated Chelan (15-6) 53-51 on Saturday in a 1A crossover game to advance to next weekend's regional tournament.

Chelan was up 51-48 with 17 second on the clock when Pancho hit a 3-point field goal to tie it up. Bradbury grabbed the rebound on Chelan’s next missed attempt and was fouled when putting up his shot. His two free throws gave Newport the lead with 1.2 seconds remaining and Chelan wasn’t able to sink their final attempt.

Zach Thelps and Tyler Worthen paced Chelan with 15 points apiece.
