What happened: Christina Carden-Flett scored 14 of her 26 points in the first half as the visiting Redskins (4-4, 1-3) defeated the Mustangs (1-10, 0-6) 59-44 on Saturday. Mariah Sherwood added 12 points for Wellpinit. Northport was shorthanded due to injury and had to rely on eighth graders for much of the night, including Eliza Stark who led the team with 11 points. Ashtyn Baribault added 11 points as well.
