Summary

What happened:

Alea Wohl led the way for the Bantams with 19 points as Clarkston (8-6, 5-3) defeated Cheney (9-7, 4-4) 68-61 on Saturday. With the win, Clarkston now moves ahead of Cheney in the GNL standings into second place with Cheney sliding into third place.

Cheney got the early lead, but a second quarter helped get the Bantams back into the game. Tied after the third quarter, Alea Wohl took charge and helped Clarkston outscore the Blackhawks 26-19 for the win. Also in double figures on the night were Riley Denton with 17 points and Makinzie Packwood with 11 points.

Cheney put up a fight thanks to a great game by Haley Pemberton who scored 14 points and was helped by Brette Draper and Holly Flynn with eight points apiece.
