Summary

Berlyn Hunt scored 24 points on 9 of 20 shooting and No. 6 Almira/Coulee-Hartline (22-4) upset No. 1-seeded Colton (22-3) 50-46 in the 1B girls semifinals on Friday at the Arena.

After trailing 26-22 at halftime, the Warriors outscored the Wildcats 16-2 in the third quarter to assemble a 10-point lead. ACH held off Colton at the end to complete the upset.

Tiffany Boutain added 13 points and four assists. Mikayla Rushtom led the Warriors on the glass with nine rebounds.

Three Colton players finished in double figures, led by Meghan Devorak's 14 points. She also chipped in a team-high eight rebounds. Kendyl Druffel and Dakota Patchen each added 10 apiece.

Almira/Coulee-Hartline plays No. 3-seeded Republic for the state title at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Colton will play No. 9-seeded Sunnyside Christian in the third-place game.
