Summary

Lily Beckwith scored a game-high 17 points, Shaina Graham added 13 and No. 3-seeded Republic (24-2) edged Almira/Coulee-Hartline 50-45 in a state 1B semifinal game at the Spokane Arena on Friday.

Alyssa Martin led the Knights with 16 points. Kristen Broersma posted a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Graham also had a double-double for the Tigers, chipping in 11 assists with her 13 points. Carlie Rittel led Republic with 12 rebounds.

Republic moves on to the state championship game, where it meets No. 6-seeded Almira/Coulee-Hartline at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Sunnyside Christian will play No. 1-seeded Colton in the third-place game at 11:15 a.m.
