Summary

Chase Burnham scored 20 points, Tyler Haas added 16 and the No. 12-seeded Liberty Lancers (20-6) upset No. 2-seeded Life Christian Academy (22-5) 57-49 in a state 2B semifinal game at the Arena on Friday.

Luke Lovelady scored 23 points and grabbed 13 rebounds for the Lancers on 8 of 14 shooting, and conducted a 5-0 run to put the Lancers within two points of Liberty with 2:09 remaining. But Lancers' Brandon Holling scored on a putback layup and Haas made two free throws to ice it.

Noah Robinson also had 15 points for LCA.

Burnham also had 10 rebounds to go with his 20 points. Haas dished out seven assists.

Liberty takes on No. 1-seeded Kittitas (23-0) on Saturday at 9 p.m. for the state championship. Life Christian Academy takes on St. George's (18-9) in the third-place game.
