Summary

Jeff Thompson finished with a hat trick and Dylan Balauro chipped in with a goal and an assist to lead the visiting Riverside Rams (1-2, 1-2) to a 4-1 victory over the Deer Park Stags (0-3, 0-5) in Northeast A League boys soccer play on Tuesday afternoon.

Thompson scored 15 minutes into the match and tallied his second goal 3 minutes later. Deer Park's Chase Sanchez found the net in the 20th minute to cut the lead to 2-1. But Thompson completed his three-goal day with a netter in the 57th minute and Balauro put the match out of reach with a tally in the 75th minute.
