Summary

What happened:

Chenoa Erickson had a triple in the top of the sixth to score two runs and seal the game, and the visiting Hornets (14-6, 11-2) blanked the Wildcats (16-3, 10-0).

Meika Heath tossed the shutout with three hits and nine strikeouts for the Hornets. Amaya Simpson of Inchelium had two doubles and two RBIs.

The Hornets will play Almira/Coulee-Hartline for seeding in the state championship next Saturday at 3 PM.
