What happened: Alison Shaler tossed a perfect game and the Crusaders (18-3) beat the visiting Panthers (7-15) in the first round of the District 7 2B tournament on Tuesday. Shaler went 2 for 3 with two RBIs, Jordan Rabe homered and Chloe Rainbow had a double, triple and three RBIs for NWC, which advances to a semifinal on Saturday. Asotin falls into the elimination bracket.
