What happened: Chloe Williams scored 21 points on eight made shots, including three 3-pointers, as the Bears (11-1, 6-1) defeated the visiting Panters (9-3, 5-2) in the East Region 4A/3A Championship game on Wednesday. Central Valley's MJ Bruno scored 11 and Skyle Neumann added 12 with two 3-point baskets. Mead's Olivia Moore had a team high 16 points and hit the Panthers lone two 3-pointers of the evening. Teryn Gardner was finished with 12 points for Mead.
