At the SunDome in Yakima, Davenport knocked off Asotin in four sets 23-25, 25-14, 25-21, 25-14 in the quarterfinals of the State 2B tourament. Georgi Halverson scored 19 kills, Sidney Cole recorded five aces and nine digs, and Sarah Vesneske totaled 24 assists and 25 digs in the win for the Gorillas. Davenport will face Toutle Lake in the semifinals tomorrow at 1pm.

Taylor Larsen continued her productive offensive day in the second round of the 2B Regional Tournament as Colfax swept Asotin 25-11, 25-10, 25-12. Larsen had 13 kills, six aces, and two blocks. Kori Goodwin added 27 assists for the Bulldogs. Colfax advanced to the championship match against Davenport. The loss put Asotin in a loser out match.
