In the ninth inning Payton Mackin doubled and then scored on a sacrifice fly by Johnny Krupla to give Shadle Park the go-ahead run in an eventual 10-9 win over Central Valley. Krupla had a home run earlier in the game as well. For the Bears, Tyler Pichette had an outstanding day at the plate, going 4-5.

Logan Kurucz scored three runs, Brett Rypien drove in three and Shadle Park rolled to a 9-1 victory over visiting Central Valley on Friday. Payton Mackin and Dylan Greenwald combined on a two-hitter for the Highlanders.
