Gus Hagestad scored on the fifth kick in a shootout and the second-seeded Bantams (10-3-0) eliminated the visiting fifth-seeded Blackhawks (3-12-0) in a District 7 2A first-round match. Noah Schorzman scored in the 15th minute to give Cheney a lead it held until well into the second half. Clarkston’s Nate Greer registered the equalizer in the 55th minute and the 1-1 draw held into the shootout.
