What happened: Heidi Scott had four hits, three RBIs and two runs scored and the top-seeded Irish (24-1-1) beat the fifth-seeded Wildcats (18-5) in a 1B State semifinal on Saturday at Gateway Sports Complex in Yakima. Holly Heiststuman and Kiya Soza led Colton with three hits apiece. Colton will play tenth-seeded Ocosta in a loser-out at 1:00 p.m.
