What happened: Stacie Mitchell went 3 for 4 with three doubles, two runs and an RBI and the Lumberjacks (16-3) beat the Hornets (15-8) in an Idaho 3A State first-round game at Orofino HS on Friday. St. Maries faces West Jefferson in a semifinal.
