What happened: Isabel Silva had two hits, two RBIs and two runs scored and the top-seeded Scotties (25-2) beat the 12th-seeded Riverhawks (19-7-2) in six innings of a 2B State semifinal on Saturday at Gateway Sports Complex in Yakima. Kaylee Ripke struck out 11 in a six-inning complete game for Freeman, which faces Adna in the State 2B championship game at 3:30.

What happened: Alyssa Carroll drove in four runs on three hits and the third-seeded Pirates (20-6) defeated the top-seeded Scotties (25-3) for the 2B State title on Saturday at Gateway Sports Complex in Yakima. Kaylee Ripke led Freeman in hits with three. Freeman scored four runs in the seventh but it wasn’t enough to close the gap.
