Riley Peterson singled in the winning run, and Garfield-Palouse rallied past visiting St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse 6-5 on Tuesday to open a doubleheader. Peterson singled in a run in the fifth to cut the Vikings' deficit to 5-3, then drove in another run to end the game in the seventh. Wyatt Griner added a solo home run for Gar-Pal.

Wyatt Griner struck out 15 and picked up two hits to help Garfield-Palouse pick up a sweep of visiting St. John-Endicott/LaCrosse with a 9-0 in game two on Tuesday. Evan Weagraff added four hits and three RBIs for the Vikings.
