What happened: The Mt. Spokane offense dominated with 26 hits, 22 RBIs scoring 23 runs in five innings and the top-seeded Wildcats (20-0) defeated the fourth-seeded Hilanders (17-4) in a 3A/2A semifinal game at Kiwanis Field in Yakima on Friday. Quincy Schuerman, Emme Bond, Addison Jay and Kaydin Bradeen each went 4 for 4 for Mt. Spokane. Brooke Hefley hit a double for Kelso. Mt. Spokane faces third-seeded University for the 3A/2A Championship on Saturday at 2:00 p.m.
