The Knights held on for a 50-46 win over the Miners at Timberlake High School to keep their state hopes alive. Doug Schatz scored 14 points and Joe Brown added 13 points and the team's lone 3-pointer in the win. Brady Brantley led all scorers with 15 for Wallace, who is done for the season. Lakeside will play in a state play-in game on Saturday at St. Maries at 6:00 p.m.

Joe Brown scored 21 points and hit three 3-pointers as Lakeside defeated Wallace 74-55 on Monday night, taking the first game in the best-of-three Idaho 1A Division II District I tournament at Timberlake High School. Hunter Kolar also made three 3-pointers and scored 15 points for the Knights, who were 10 of 15 from beyond the arc. Brock Arthun scored 19 points to lead Wallace. Game two is 7:30 Wednesday night at Timberlake.
