Match Burnham shot the Liberty into state with a 30-point effort as the Lancers defeated Kittitas 60-37 in Ellensburg. Ryan Thayer added 18 points, and Clay Fleming chipped in 11 more for Liberty. The Coyotes (16-6) led by a point after the first quarter but were held to just one basket in the second period as the Lancers (22-7) took an 18-13 lead at intermission. Liberty scored 42 points in the second half in securing their trip to Spokane for state.
